01 — The challenge

The data you need to lend safely is the data you can't send out.

Gig workers are hard to lend to — they don't have the steady salary slips or credit history that traditional underwriting leans on. Aaamdhanee set out to close that gap, but ran into the wall that stops most lenders cold: to judge a gig worker's creditworthiness you have to analyse sensitive bank-statement data — and for a regulated lender, that data cannot leave their own infrastructure, with every step clean enough to survive a banking audit.

So the real problem was never “can AI score a gig worker.” It was doing it without sending a single byte of customer financial data to an outside API or model, while keeping the whole flow audit-clean. That's exactly the wall the own-your-AI approach is built to get through.

02 — What we built

The whole lending flow, inside their own walls.

The complete loan-disbursement flow runs end to end on Aaamdhanee's own private cloud — nothing leaves their environment. A borrower moves through Indian KYC with DigiLocker, then a bank-statement analyser and a custom gig-score model that reads spending patterns to assess creditworthiness where salary slips don't exist, then document verification that pairs AI checks with human review.

The critical part: the AI runs inside their own walls, so customer financial data never touches an outside service — which is precisely what let the flow pass the banking audits. And we didn't stop at a demo. We went on-ground, tested with real customers alongside the founders, and disbursed real loans — the whole flow, concept to live disbursement, in a single iteration.
